Western Nephrology has been actively involved on understanding the patterns and underlying mechanisms of our field of study. Our research department is situated in our Arvada Clinic where we are proud to have created a creative, collaborative and open-minded team.
For more than 3 decades, Western Nephrology has been actively involved in numerous clinical trials on hypertension, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury and end stage renal disease. Our Research Program has an excellent reputation and has become a preferred research site with pharmaceutical sponsors, clinical research organizations, and most importantly, our patients. Many of these Research studies have resulted in new drugs being approved for kidney disease. This has helped Western Nephrology and patients around the world.
Our staff of dedicated research coordinators, assistants and our physicians view this as an important opportunity to bring the most advanced care to our patients. If you would like information on ongoing trials, please speak to your physician or call our Research Office at 303-232-3366 and ask to speak with one of our research coordinators.
The studies that are available for new enrollment are:
Study for patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease
Study for patients with chronic kidney disease and hypertension (high blood pressure)
Study for patients with chronic kidney disease and have itching associated with this condition
