WHO
Do you love clinical research? The Clinical Research Assistant provides moderately complex research support following established protocols, study administration, data collection and lab support for the Research Department.
WHAT DO I GET?
Starting pay is commensurate with knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

MUST HAVES
Bachelor’s degree in Science discipline. (clinical, research, or other related experience may substitute for the degree)
1 year of experience working on clinical trials with human subjects.
Follows direction and adheres to established processes.
Enthusiastic and ready to learn new things.
Positive attitude and fun to work with.
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)/ICH guidelines in clinical research.
WHAT WILL I DO?

Help coordinate recruitment, enrollment, screening, marketing and follow up of study participants.

Schedule, coordinate, prepare for and conduct sponsor monitor visits and audits in collaboration with research coordinators

Maintain and organize general study/potential study related documents including protocols/IRB letters/submissions, site feasibility questionnaires, sponsor letters, and regulatory binders, study and procedure manuals.

Perform pre-screening review of potential study subjects.

Manage supplies including office supplies, kit/shipping supplies, dry ice, lab equipment supplies.

Keep daily temperature logs for room, refrigerator, and freezer to monitor excursions.

Perform equipment (weekly) and lab cleaning (daily).
IT’S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE THIS!
Problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, respect and responsibility are critical to success in this role. Software skills, internet research abilities and independent judgment are needed to plan, prioritize and organize a varied workload.
CPR/BLS Certificate.
Phlebotomy experience.
Experience with eClinical Works (eCW).
OTHER STUFF!
Work hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday with a one hour lunch.
Western Nephrology, the premier Nephrology practice in the Denver Metropolitan area, began business in 1968 caring for people with kidney disorders. Today, Western Nephrology provides consultative services at numerous hospitals along the Front Range communities. The practice is comprised of 14 board certified Nephrologists at 5 clinics treating patients for a variety of nephrological conditions including acute kidney injury, hypertension, chronic kidney disease and End Stage Renal Disease. In addition to their hospital work, its providers and staff care for patients at nephrology clinics, dialysis clinics and rehabilitation centers.
