Matthew Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson grew up in Augusta, Georgia and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia. He then completed his medical school training at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, followed by internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and nephrology fellowship at the University of Colorado. Since moving to Colorado, he has enjoyed exploring city life in Denver and finding outdoor activities year-round. His approach to nephrology involves aligning with each patient's goals to provide individualized care. Kidney disease can be daunting and complex, and he works to help patients understand and manage their kidney disease in the context of their overall health and wellness.
